focus: community
Once a week we head to the crag with you for 3 hours in the afternoon or evening, coaching you in all the areas we notice and where you’d like to improve. The weekly courses are a great opportunity to find climbing partners and connect, to build a routine, and to be professionally supported by us while doing so. Your climbing grade is completely secondary here and we adapt flexibly to your needs. You’ll also receive access to the focus community WhatsApp group for further networking with like-minded (and trained-by-us) climbing partners and ongoing support from us.
What to expect?
We head out with 3–6 climbing enthusiasts from beginner to intermediate for 5 weeks to Andritz-Weinzödl. This crag is very close to Graz and very easy to reach. There are routes at every difficulty level. You can join this course with your existing climbing partner to build a regular routine, or come to find regular climbing partners and network if you don’t yet feel confident enough to go out on your own. Each week we focus on a different topic, entirely based on your wishes and wherever we see room for improvement. Most importantly of all, it’s about a cool shared after-work climbing session in a relaxed atmosphere, outdoors with motivated people.
What do I need?
You should have some basic climbing and belaying experience, but it’s absolutely fine if you don’t yet feel fully confident in one aspect or another – that’s what we’re here for and we’re always happy to help. Other than that, all you need is curiosity and motivation to climb. Rental gear is available if needed; climbing shoes on request only.

The weekly courses take place in Andritz-Weinzödl. You can get there easily by car, bike or public transport. Like any outdoor course, ‘focus: community’ is weather- and conditions-dependent. This means that short-notice changes, postponements or cancellations can occur; you will of course be informed by us. In the event of a cancellation, you will naturally receive a full refund.
